Hello, i'm a scrapbooker and crafter. I sometimes get very creatively frustrated. I'm always Itching to make something, then i start and get stuck. I have about 4 projects that I've started and can't progress any further. Any ideas on how to overcome this, lol. And i'm not a coffee drinker so that ones out, lol.

I am a CM consultant but even if you dont use CM you can go to our website to the project center to get ideas., They have stuff for traditional to digital to name tags to gifts..... go to www.mycmsite.com/jaimemartin

Have you ever tried Page Maps? Great for ideas, you dont have to copy them to a tee, just use the idea to make the layout your own.

I downloaded a program off the internet for free called Smilebox. It is a scrapbooking program that you can upload your pictures onto premade scrapbook pages. I only use the scrapbook pages for ideas though!! It has helped me a lot when I get stuck. And it has a ton of different scrapbook pages for any occasion.

look for something in your home like your favorite shirt, painting, book, sculpture, necklace maybe that item will provide you with some inspiration

Hi.. that happens to me all the time so one thing that i do .. I pick what ever colors,shapes or even patterns that i never use, what ever first idea i may get .... i put it together with out a second guess..... that helps me get the stress out!!! If i don't like the end project, it becomes my what not to do next project. i hope this helps!

Sometimes we have so much that run through our heads and we often reject those ideas...I agree with Rachel...look at ideas from either books or other online scrappers. Something will click for you...I have many projects and I find it useful..if I get stuck on one I can go to another.
You'll find something that will get those wheels turning again! Good Luck and happy scrappin'.

thanks a bunch, yeah lollies always work for me, lol. I've made a heap of things before but lately i'm frustrated with it all, maybe my expectations are too high :)

a bottle of water and a small bowl of mixed lollies, or look through scrapbooking idea books to give you a fresh approach to your ideas.
