I am curious what everyone is working with in their scrapbooks. Do you love brads, are you a ribbon junkie, do you journal a ton (and do you handwrite or type), do you use rubber stamps & ink, do you have an album for your pets?

It is fun to hear what everyone else is into.

Right now I am working on my son's baseball national championship trip last summer. It is his last competitive season before high school and his team took first place - a first for him!! I am using my cricut sports & baseball cartridges. I like to let the photos tell the story and usually have a title and journal a bit. This time I decided to have dad (one of the coaches) journal about coaching him the past 6 years.

Last Christmas, I did a Christmas Traditions book. I included recipes, photos of my trees, the house & Christmas village. It is more a book to showcase our decorations and, well, traditions. I do not have many photos of us in it. I left some pages blank to keep adding new things.

I hate to say it but I've gotten away from the kids' books. I have been doing more crafty stuff like cards, decor, invitations. I am planning a cookie exchange so I've been working on invites, soccer is almost over so I have made something for the girls and with halloween, I'm making goodie bags for kids' classrooms.

The cricut has been my main tool for all of these projects.

I am taking a liking to chipboard....and my Cricut of course! I haven't been working on much lately...but I hope to get more time to scrap very soon. We'll see what I gravitate to then....

Oh man, I am horrendously addicted to bling! Rhinestones, crystal brads, glitter stickers...anything that sparkles!! Even my son's baby book is filled with glitter (my poor son's unmanly scrapbook LOL) I use basically black and white cardstock so the embellishments really stand out :)

my newest addiction is the cricut and xyron. I also do alot of stamping. I am a consultant for Close to My Heart. ALoso, one of ourr newest items is "Flip Flaps". I can put a number of pictures on one page that I don't want to throw out, but I have to many that are similar. I am currently on 2005, but these flip flaps make things so much faster and easy.

Ok, I admit I do have an album for my pets. In my defense, my middle son kept carry pictures of him with the dogs around. He is a BIG animal lover. I made a book of our 2 labs. It was actually pretty funny too because we had the dogs before the kids were born. It was amazing to see the puppy pictures with me and hubby. No gray and 20 pounds lighter. My son loved the book.

Now my oldest who we jokingly call the tree hugger (not a bad thing actually), wants me to make him a book of nature. We go camping every year and have lots of lake, tree, animal pictures. I have to see if I have enough for a small book. If I do, I may make him one for Christmas.

Right now, I'm working on my middle son's book. I am almost to the point where I am current enough that I will then switch to my youngest son's book. Joshua (3) does have his baby book, but he I would to get 1 to 2 done as well. He has started taking an interest in the books and I think he would love to look at himself. Although he looks so much like the middle one that sometimes he thinks it's his book anyway:)

As for what I love...... I love it all! I do some stamping, but really don't have tons of stamps. I just got the silent setter (very helpful when scrapping with a house full of sleeping people). Right now I am loving Creative memories new paper ribbons, so I am using them a lot. I really am a little bit of a paper junkie.

I might have to check out the sports & baseball cartidges. With 3 boys I think I would use that one lots......
