where to get supplies at reasonable prices
MOST HELPFUL POSTS
memorymiser.com has lots of different product lines- I use it for AMAZING deals on Cricut cartridges. I don't think Wal Mart's prices are all that great, and the selection at my WM is not great. Get on the mailing lists for JoAnn Fabrics, AC Moore, Michaels, and you'll get coupons to use that makes things affordable. I NEVER pay full price for supplies at those stores. Sooner or later, they put everything on sale. I do like the locally-owned scrapbook supply stores. Yes, you might pay a little more, but the big-box stores can't match the selection and the little stores can choose what their customers will want, as opposed to a corporate buyer.

I like to buy from QVC and HSN. You can go to there websites and buy, but if you watch and be patient they will sell things on the air at awesome prices. I just noticed that QVC will be selling things on air February 18th 12pm EST, Feb 19th at 3am amd 3 pm. (I am not for sure on the times on Feb 19th )

I like the websites Cherry on Top, scrapbook.com, and Addicted to Scrapbooking. Michaels often has great sales, and Creative Memories consultants sometimes have sales when they are clearing out old inventory to make room for new stuff.

Watch for sales and stock up when you can. Get the weekly coupons from Micheals for the expensive stuff but even the specialty stores have great deals if you know how to look and you are patient. The type and size of book you use and how much embellishments you put on them will play a huge part in the amount of $$ you spend. Go basic and then add to it later when that fun item is on sale. You also might want to get in touch with some local consultants for Creative Memories, Close to My Heart and Stampin Up so you can know when they are having a sale and get some good quality stuff. Good luck :).

I love ebay, Michaels and Joann's. I do a lot of purchasing via the internet and do a lot of price comparison for items. I am quite the Queen of getting good, new items dirt cheap. Ebay is by far the best for pricing. Michaels will have 20% to 50% sales from time to time and that is a great time to purchase high priced items.
I have purchased also from Amazon.com, scrapbook.com and other online stores.

Craft stores and even Wal Mart have been unsuspectingly good places to get supplies. Scrapbooking is so popular you don't need to go to specialty shops any more unless you need something very specific. I use to avoid buying stuff in bulk, like big stacks of multiple shades and prints of paper. I started buying them the last six months and I love them. In the end they are much cheaper and I am suprised about how many of the pages I have put to use to far.

Hi Roslyn! You could look for supplies at craft stores, AC Moore, Michael's, Joann Fabrics, and they do offer sales and weekly coupons as well. You can also find great Creative Memories items (this is the best and highest quality scrapbooking supplies which really are the only supplies truly proven to be totally archive safe--therefore tend to be a bit more expensive) from a CM Consultant OR, you can also check out scrapbook supplies on ebay! Hope this helps!
