I am taking classes and thinking about baking cakes for friends to make a little extra money. Any advice?

go for the wedding cakes and practice your piping!



don't do family discounts.



call a local speciality shop and ask their prices



get a KILLER buttercream frosting



and watch the food network cake shows! LOL
