Ear infections

My daughter has had constant ear infections since she was 5 months old. She had tubes put in on her first Birthday. Since then, she still has A LOT of drainage. It is usually bloody drainage, and she pulls on her ears whenever she has it. I have been to two different ENT's and they both say it is normal and to put drops in her ears when she has drainage. I'm sorry, but I don't think bloody drainage coming out of ears is normal! That means I am putting drops in her ears most of the time. It clears up for about a week or two and then back to the drops. Does anyone else have this problem with tubes and ear infections????

WOW!  I think I would be just as worried as you.  My daughter had the same problem with ear infections and we did tube at 11 months.  Luckily we haven' t had too many problems since then.  We have ear drainage usually every couple of months and we do the drops but haven't had any bloody drainage.  Maybe it's okay but it doesn't seem right to me either.  Hopefully someone else can help you out on this or has had the same problem.  Best of luck!
