My son turn 2 on september 4 2007 weighing at 7lbs and 11oz 19 inch long and now at his last check up he weighs at 52 lbs and 39 inches so i got a big baby but my fiace family is all tall and big so he gets it from them.

Tegan is 12 kg which I think is about 26lb sorry we dont use pounds in Australia. She is a midget compared to all your healthy kids. My second is small for his age too!

I have heard that. In which case my son will be shorter than I am. I guess we will see. Small isnt bad as long as they are healthy. Although I did have more than one pediatrician accuse me of starving him since he is so small

Nathaniel September 28th as of now he is 37" tall 33lbs. He is leveling off, my kids do this they start off really big off the charts then they'll end up in the 70- 80% range . 11lbs 9oz 24.5 in when born.

OMG I so wish you can see my son Jason he was born Sept-12-07 and he was only 7pounds 3oz but now he is not fat so the doctor tells me but his weight is 40 pounds yes hes only two but his in clothes for big kids 4-5T lol I wish I can post a pic of he he is so cute so I think it really depends on you family genes.

No, that is a fallacy. My son was short all his life and right after he graduated from high school he grew 6 in. and stands at 6' 1".



This was in response to katherine Sturrock and have I ever heard that at 2 1/2 they are half their adult height.

Xavier's Pediatrician has never commented on his height or weight. He was normal birth weigh/length and gestation. He turned 2 on Sept. 9 2009 and weighed in at 24 lbs and was only 31 in tall. He was sick a cpl of weeks ago and took him to the Dr. and he had gained 2 lbs and grew 2 in. in those past 5 months. As long as your child is developing, active, eating healthy foods and sleeping, I wouldn't worry too much about his height/weight. Better to have a small petite child than one that is overweight.

At my sons 2 year checkup on sept 26, 2009 he was 22lbs and 32in tall. His weight was less than 5th percentile and height was 95 percentile. And he is still 22lbs at 29months old. But he has GI problems that are stunting his weight gain.

Thomas Jeremiah celebrated his 2nd birthday on 27 September. At his routine yearly checkup the day after, he stood 33 in. tall, and weighed 27.5 pounds. Since then, I believe he's grown a couple of additional inches, but hasn't gained much weight!
