Hi everyone,

Welcome to the September 2007 Babies community, where we chat about our September 2007 children and whatever else is on our minds!

To get things started, I thought it would be nice if we all introduced ourselves in this thread, which will be pinned to the community home page. Whether you're a Circle of Moms veteran or you're new to the site, let us know who you are, what you’re interested in, and what your lovely September 2007 child is up to right now, developmentally speaking!

I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 2 1/2yrs, but we've been together for 15yrs. Adri is really into her dolls and everything girly!!! She also has this weird obsession with iCarly right now...don't know where that came from?!!

She just started sleeping in a bed from a crib and made the transition so easily. Right now we're working on potty training and she's getting the hang of it little by little. It's nice to be able to talk to other moms.

Hi, my name is Jaylee. I have a 2 year old son named Austin. He was born September 5th...right now he is talking like crazy and making just about every animal sound you can think of. He is very active with sports, he loves football and basketball and every time he sees someone playing football he thinks its his 15 yr old uncle Steve playing. He has a 8 month old cousin that he is always playing with and trying to make laugh. He also loves to try and ride our St. Bernard and Black Lab. He was almost potty trained at about 1 1/2 but turned back to diapers. He is a child who will eat massive amounts in certain months, but other months he will barely touch his food. Is this common?

She is very opionanated, determined and demanding at times (I've been told like mother like daughter.lol) She loves Dora, dancing and helping mama whenever she can. My name is Ann, I'm 42 and stay at home mother of 5 boys, Zachary is my youngest, born Sept 16,2007. His brothers are 4,6,12 and 19. Alot of the posts here are about potty training but we are no where near that, he has absolutely not interest in it. I just got his 4 yr old brother trained but thats ok because he did it when he was ready and so will Zach. He speaks so clearly and is quite a parrot, you really have to watch what you say around him. He loves blocks, trains and anything that moves, he is quite a whirlwind. He loves being around other kids, I watch other kids in my home so its like a playdate everyday. I love being a mom!!

He took awhile to say Mama and I was slowly....dying...waiting....for him to say it. Well now he can and he say Mama 30 times in 1 minute...even if I'm right next to him...even if I say "yes cookie" over and over. Now he say Mama none stop and I tell him "Cookie, you do not have to say Mama so many times...especially when I'm right next to you"...It never stops....you can say I got what I asked for to the fullest!!!!!

Full-time working mom who loves music and everything else under the sun lol. JaVon is a very active child who is on the go from the time his little feet touch the floor in the morning and he calls out 'MOM' to the time his little head touches the bed at night. He is currently working with a speech therapist because he's saying roughly 20+ words right now, but elsewhere developmentally he's right on track!

She's very outgoing and funny and she just brings sunshine whereever she goes! I would like her to hurry up and get potty trained (her older sister was doing it by the same age) but I will use extreme patience with her and let her figure it out on her own schedule.....(she's my last baby and I'm anxious to move out of the diaper stage.)

My September 07 baby is Robert and he is so full of it, knows everything, has to do chores like the big kids, rattling off two and 3 word sentences, is in the process of toilet training, which is achievable most days. He thinks he is a big kid and at the moment his most favourite word is No. I suppose when your are number 10, you have an advantage as there are other children to follow.
