I'm 38, husband is 44, we have 4 children, 13,10, 2-1/2, and 1-1/2. The one thing we find it hard to do, having older kids and then toddlers, is finding things we can all do as a family.

Thanks!! I will celebrate in Rome - my hubby takes me :-) our little one will go to my parents for 4 days, our first time to be separated more than one night... but she's a doll, she'll be ok for sure. Can not say for my parents, HAHA

I am turning 39 on Thursday :-) and my husband is 44. Our 19 months old is our first and only child, he also has two from previous marriage (6 and 11yr) - so I got 2 children extra occasionally :-) They are great and love their half-sister very much, the older girls is also very responsible and helps with the little one.

I'm 40 with 14 yr old daughter, nearly 12 yr old son and have an 18month old with my new partner. I hear what some of u are saying about being strange parenting teenagers and toddlers. Or that friends are off on hols with grown up children and we are still holidaying with toddlers. I do find socialising difficult these days as all my mates are out at work with teenagers at senior school and I am back at home again looking for mother and toddler groups. But am loving being a mum again. I did think my family was complete until 3 yrs ago.

I'm 45 and my husband is 40 (I guess that makes me the "grandma"!).  We have 17 month old and 5 year old triplets (IVF, Valerie, but the baby was spontaneous.)  I'd LOVE to have more, but husband says he's done and I'm too old to want to try too hard for more.  :)

Are you looking for support, or confirmation you're not alone out there? I'll be 40 in 2 months, and have 15-month-old TWINS.

Hi, we have a 16 month old girl and 2 1/2 year old boy. I am 39 and my husband is 42. We have agreed this was the best way. We are older, but more "settled" in life and couldn't imagine it any other way. It is hard sometimes when your friends who had children in their 20's are out Vacationing and your still in sippy cups and diapers. But we love our children!
