I have been thinking of starting a photo contests series for this board. Each month there would be a new contest with a new theme.
Let me know what you all think of this idea and what ideas you would have for themes and potential prizes (still have to run this last part by the Community Managers). :)

I think this is a really good idea. I dont know what kind of themes you would do.... I saw that someone already said something about the seasons.... and I cant think of anything else either. I will keep it in mind, and if I do think of something I will let you know!

I like the idea.. the prizes.. maybe.. set of fun learning toys which they can show their creativities and play at the same time

that sounds like fun. Specific holdiday themes to coincide with the holidays, summer, water, funny, most serious, cutest siblings..that's all I got right now. I'll let you know if I think of more.

The photo contest for August 2010 is up and the theme is summer time! Feel free to submit your pictures and vote for your favorite ones! The contest is located on the right side of the main Sept. 2007 Babies page and will remain open until Sunday, August 22, 2010!

Hi there, I think that it is a great idea- and generally kids do not have to stand and pose for a photo because it comes naturally. In fact by taking those pictures it captures the essence of their true beauty and personality.
