Another baby? Already?

I can't wait to get pregnant again... hopefully it won't take over a year this time. My son was born 9/22, and I'm hoping to get pregnant again in the next month or so to have the next baby still in 2009. I'm already 37, so I don't want to wait too long, plus I'd like for my children to grow up close. I know it will be hard having more than 1 in diapers, etc, but I'd like for all of their memories to include their siblings... I'm an only child, and my hubby has 2 younger sisters that have many years between them, so they aren't really close. I want to have as many kids as I am physically able, so we'll see what happens...

when i had my daughter, for the first couple of months i was mortified that people ever had more than one. What an ordeal!

Now i'm obsessed with wanting another. I'm not going to straight away because our financial situation wouldn't allow it. I'm having to satisfy my obsession by staring at other people's newborns when i'm out and about, like some weird stalker! My fiancee reckons i'll get locked away shortly!!!

I can't wait to have another. I think you know when you naturally come to the end of having more babies. It's certainly not stopping at one with me!

My husband started talking about our 3rd the month after this one was born..Honestly I would like to give it at least a year, and see how we feel then.

My daughter will be 5 months on Feb 17th. My hubby and I have talked about already starting for another one and as exciting as it is, I still have a little reservation about it. I just want to make sure that we get enough quality time with our daugther before we bring another baby into the mix. Even though she would be just over a year if we got pregnant any time soon, I still think we need to widen the gap between them. I work full time as a 911 dispatcher and when im not working I am home with my baby girl.



I just want to make sure that we are in order before we go jumping in to the journey again. I am excited and having them about 1-2years apart is our goal I am just a little weary. I am taking birth control so there is that factor, even though it took about a month for us to get pregnant when I stopped taking it to get pregnant with my daughter.. I deffenetly dont think there should be any rush to bring in another lil beauty! But everyone is different!



I also agree with a couple of the moms on here, that daddy doesnt really understand how much work just one is and to add one more is a lot of work, and hopefully he would be willing/able to pitch in more, because that is a full time job in its self!



Hopefully everything works out for everyone! We are all very lucky to have the children we do! So just make sure you enjoy that first!

We are planning on a second child as well, but probably trying around December so they are abotu 2 years apart.

I have a 5 1/2 year old, a 4 year old, a 20 month old and 5 month old - the youngest was born 9/3/08. The first two are 19 months apart, the second and third are 28 months, the last two are 15 months apart. The third wasn't walking before #4 was born, and life was very hard. It's starting to get easier, but I wouldn't have them this close again - not that this was planned! Two years apart is nice, anything closer is really hard at the beginning but they have fun together as they get older. I homeschool, so this is an interesting world we live in!

Yep, my hubby and I are planning on having another.. we will probably start trying in April.. right now we have a 3 year old 2 year old and a 4.5month old! We want them all close together so we wont be waiting.

me and my husband have a 16 month old and 4 month old i had emergency c sections for both all though it is hard in the first few months it now has become easier, i prefer to have them close together and to watch my son wit his little brother gives us a good laugh

My first is 4 months old. My period has been kind of wacky since quitting breastfeeding/getting on birth control. We actually thought I might be pregnant again! I got a negative on the home pregnancy test, though. I was a little disappointed, but I know that we're not quite ready for another. We want them close together, but we need to get our finances straightened out first and figure out where we're living because we're probably moving this summer.

I would love to start on our 2nd but I had a c-section and I don't think I am supposed to get pregnant for 1 year. That, and I would like to enjoy each childs babyhood as much as possible. And most husbands really don't understand what its like to be home ALL day.

I'm planning another one soon. In december so my first is 2 when the second comes along. It will be very crazy but i want them close together.

My daughter was 2 in December and my son was born Sept. 16th, so they are 21 months apart and I feel the same way as you, things are pretty crazy around here. My husband would love to have another soon, but I don't think I can handle it so I got Mirena so there would not be any surprises in the next couple of years, and then I'll think about it. Unless your husband is a stay at home dad, he probably has no idea how hard it is to take care of 2 little ones (at least I know my husband doesn't!). Take your time if you are not ready yet.

My husband and I are planning to start working on our second. Sometimes I think I may be crazy but we know we want two children and I would much rather do it sooner than later. My daughter was born on the 26th.
