my little girl will be one on sept 28th!! she just started pulling herself up to kneeling today so it wont be long until she is standing herself up!! she still wont crawl though she would rather sit on her butt and scoot herself all around the house...it is so cute to watch!!!!

I have twin girls. Lilly took her first steps on July 7th and now runs around the whole house, and my other girl Leila took her first steps this past Thursday. It opens up a whole new world and I love watching them with a whole new set of experiences now :)

Hi! My son was born September 23rd and can pull himself up to his feet and stand for a few seconds on his own but has not yet taken a step. Maybe by his 1st birthday though?? =)

Oh yes. My daughter was born on September 15 2008 and she started walking at 9 months. She is so much more happy each milestone she passes. She has a big sister so I think that is why she started walking so soon.

my daughter is just the same, she just wont crawl properly but its such good fun to watch, she will stand with furniture and walk holding onto something but her legs are still quiet wobbly, im hoping she is walking for our wedding in october but im not holding much hope, well done to all the early walkers though x

My Daughter was born 9-4 and she is walking! Well, its more like running. At 10months she started to stand for long periods of time. She has been able to walk by holding on to toys and chairs and anything else that moves for awhile now! She started with just taking 3steps then 3 days later...bam! She took off! I didn't realize that they could walk this early. It is crazy!

I've been watching my baby walk across the room today. She fall's down and gets straight back up. If she wants to get somewhere fast, she gets down and crawls. She was 10 months on the 21 of July.

My little madam is trying. She isn't quite there but she can take a step or two before she falls on her bum lol! Im dreading it, she's enough trouble while she's only crawling! lol

My daughter is standing by her self and has taken three steps. She has been at this point for a while. She is a very cautious baby, I think even though shes sooo close it still may be a while. She has the balance and strenght but not the confidence yet :). Its fine with me, I figure if she waits until shes ready there will be less bumps and bruises.

my son is going to be 11 months in a few days and is still not walking.... but i'm okay with that!! the sooner he walks the sooner i am going to be chasing after him!! lol He gets into enough with just being able to crawl!! lol
He is standing up a lot and walking along things (like the couch or coffee table) but no steps alone. It's funny cause he is very independent... he will not stand if my hubby or i try to help him... he wants to do it himself! lol

Our son is crawling all over the place and he pulls himself up on the couches and coffee tables and walks along them. Still not walking by himself yet. He is 10 months 5 days today

Hi there, yes our little is walking......he just pulled himself up against the chair and let go and off he went lol. I was running behind him so worried he was going to fall over....of course he did as he was laughing sooo much but still he found it funny!! I couldnt believe it!

We had to go out and buy stair gates yesterday as i caught him trying to climb the stairs!! x

My daughter Cadence has been walking for about 2 weeks now (she is 10 months and 2 weeks) she still falls when she gets going fast. She has been a fast learner she crawled beginning of her 6 month and started pulling up beginning her 7 month.. She keeps me on my toes!

Hi, My son is walking he started this week coming of the furniture. He is now up to about 8 steps but he is still wobby. He started crusing and pull himself up the same week he started crawling at 7 months. He walks to and from Mum to Dad. He is so proud and smiles heaps when he does it!

Hey, Allison was born on Sept 21 and has been walking for 3 weeks now.
At first just a couple steps, more each day and now she can walk after a walking cat....yesterday was the furthest she walked without holding my hand. Although she does prefer to hold on :D Glad I'm not too tall

my little sep 08 girl has just started walking, well she takes around 6 steps atm but is gaining more confidence everyday. she still crawls alot cause its quicker but i expect her to be fully walking and running around really soon.

Yes my Little one has just turned 10months and took her first steps last week and is now walking back and forth between me and my hubby only 1 week after taking her fist steps.
My niece started walking at 9months which was very odd to see a little baby walking at that age.

my sept baby has been walking with my fingers since he was 6 months. Ever since he was a newborn he has liked to stand so I guess that is what started him walking early. He is now walking more on his own without assistance across the room or yard.

hes been cruising for a few weeks and a few days ago he started trying to let go of whatever hes holding onto. but he drops right away. but tonight he started acting like that wasnt going to happen and when he gets to the end of whatever it is and just keeps going. so instead of dropping hes flopping forward. i think hes sorted it out in his head and so he thinks he knows. but his little fat legs just arent as ready as he is.

Hi my name is Heather;
My son was born September 4, 2008. He can walk along the coffee table and along the chairs or if he is holding on to your hand. He now lets go of what he is holding on to free stand and then fall on his bottom and laugh. Today while playing he stood up on his own with out pulling himself up. So I'm hoping that he will be walking on his own very soon.

My baby girl Abigail is 9months 3weeks she crawls and climbs unto the couch. She walks if someone holds her hand and she walks while holding on to the couch and stretches across to the table and walks around the table (the coffee table).

hi i have a september baby who id crawling and climbing everywhere, i miss the days he would sit pretty and play with his toys lol he had takin 2 steps only once im pretty sure he will be walkin before hes one hes good at standing up on things and wlking that way

My little guy was born Sept 7/08, and he's not walking yet either. He crawls and can pull himself into a standing position, he'll walk around things if there is something to hold onto, but no steps on his own yet. Soon though, I hope...and then we'll all be wishing for them to stop getting into things!

Hi, my 10m. old daughter stands for a few seconds, takes a couple of steps then falls down. I was hoping that she would be walking by now. I've been told that she needs a walker - does anyone know if this really helps?

My 9 1/2 month old is walking pretty well. She can go across rooms without holding on and is walking up to half the way to older child's school each day (5 minutes for an adult so not amazingly far) with me holding one hand. She looks too small to be walking though and I think people think she's older but small for her age!

my son crawls like crazy and will pull himself up and walk around objects like the table while holding on and will push chairs or toys across the room, he also will let go and stand for a moment on his own...so i think he is close

My son crawls, pulls up to stand and has let go of things and stands for a second or two on his own. He pulls up on my daughter's grocery cart and walks behind it while pushing it. It won't be long.

Our son has been standing and taking steps for over a month now, and he can stand on his own. He can walk if he's holding with one hand to a finger or our clothes, but he still doesn't let go! Soon though!

Yes, my Sept 08 baby is walking. He's still pretty wobbly and will still drop down and crawl if wants to get there fast, but he does walk. :) I am not ready for this. He will be into everything now!!

Our girl can stand for a few seconds on her own...and she's taken one step before falling over. I expect her to take off walking anyday now!
