Bottle to sippy cup....need help!!!

I went through qutie a few stages of sippie cups to get her to the ones she's on today. But it was a slow process. I mean like over a couple months. The first thing i did was buy her a Nuby sports sipster cup. It has a tip like a nipple but not rounded on the end. It's silicone just like a bottle nipple but it got her used to a little different shape. After she switched completly to that for a few weeks I switched to the Nuby regular sippie cup tips that were also silicone. I gave it a few weeks for her to switch completly to that shape and then switched to the playtex stage one cups. They're a soft rubber type tip. Those took the longest to switch too. about 3 1/2 weeks. Then when she got used to those I could switch her to the cheap nuby cups or the Playtex staget 3 cups. I skipped the stage 2 because the tip is really short compared to the other cups and she wouldn't take it. I know this sounds like a lot of money and a lot of work, but it's what i had to do. And now she takes about any cup i send her way. Hope you figure out what to do. And with the teething, they have these things called teething tablets at wal-mart. They're in the babysection next to the toothbrushes and orajels and paci's. But they're the BEST. I give them to my little girl whenever she's teething and even she knows they help. Whenever she's in pain and starts fussing she'll go to my diaper bag and bring me the tablets. And it's almost instantly that she can fall asleep. It's an all natural supplement. Hope you figure out what you want to do! :)

my 16month old daughter wont drink from a sippy cup either and iv bought every type there is and she is teething too my other daughter was quite quick going from bottle to cup xx

We struggled with Caitie for TEN MONTHS on the sippy cup thing. Finally, three days ago, we found her a sippy cup she'll use! I think there is a half dozen threads on switching from bottle to sippy if you browse through the first page or two of Conversations. There has been some wonderful advice that I cannot duplicate off the top of my head... but definately worth look at. Good luck!
