Do you remember when you found out you were expecting your baby?

We weren't actively trying, but we weren't actively preventing either. Right around New Years I just "felt" like I might be pregnant and I told my husband. 11 days later, the night before my missed period I took a taste and it was a faint positive (I took it at my parents house, in the bathroom with my husband, lol). We didn't tell anyone that night except my friend who was staying with us. I remember saying "Well, it was a faint positive and it's supposed to be more accurate with the first pee of the morning, so who knows." LOL! I took another one that morning, positive, another one that afternoon, positive...I was about 4 weeks along when I found out, so I knew basically from conception. I don't know how, I just did. I didn't drink at the New Year's Eve party or anything. I just "felt" pregnant.



We were going to wait to tell our families, but my husband couldn't keep a secret and told my brother in law, who told my sister and then that was that. So within 24 hours from the first test our whole families and close friends knew, lol. We were able to tell everyone else together, my sister and brother in law didn't ruin it for us, thankfully :)



Oh and we found out the day before we moved into our first apartment together. Before that, for the first 2 months of our marriage, we had been living in the travel trailer I had since I worked/lived at a campground during college, perfect timing ;)

I took several tests over a couple of days before I told my husband. I actually took pictures of the test stick that said "Pregnant" with my new camera and then asked him to teach me to download the pictures to the computer. He was completely shocked because we had only been trying for 2 weeks (I literally did not have a period between going off of the pill and getting pregnant). We both thought it would take a long time but we got pregnant right away.

It was so hard to wait but we did not tell anyone else until I was a little more than 6 weeks along. We told all of our friends at my husband's birthday party and then told our families the next day at Easter lunch.

I was about a week late on my period which wasn't unusaull. It was my birthday I had bought the test about a week before but decided to wait until my birthday. this moring my husband was making breakfast, eggs, which made me very sick to my stomach. So without telling him I went to the bathroom and took the test. It said positive, which nearly made me faint, I was so surprised. since we had only been married for 3 mths I was a little scared of what his reaction would be. So I walk into the kitchen with I shocked look on my face he asked what was wrong so I told him to go look in the bathroom. He did then came out with the test and said your pregnant and got all excited more excited than I was.

i had a suspition for a few weeks but it was only when i was sick all through the church my mother went to that my partner and me finally got a test, it came back pos and we were excited, his and my family took it really well thankfully seeing as i was 17 at the time, now im 20 and pregnant again this one was planned and we were again really excited about the news =)

My husband and I had just decided to try for a second baby ( our daughter was just over a year and i was ready for another one) we had only started trying that month I was due to have my period on the 17th, around the 9th my husband and I had sex and i instantly felt sick , i ran to the bathroom and threw up (he had no idea i was sick) on the 11th I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!! that night I heard my husband drive up so I gave my 1 year old the test and when he opened the door she went running at him with the test (she didnt know what was going on but i got her all excited before he came home lol) he was shocked since we hadnt been trying long at all and was pretty shocked that I was pregnant already! We were both really excited though!!!

my mom and step dad and one of my friends keep telling me i was and i was telling them no there is no way!! that they were crazy! i was at my moms house when i took one test nothing came up so i went to my fathers house and took another and my ex was in the room playin video game and i told him and he droped the contorer and said what he ask me if i read it right! i got mad and handed him the stick and the paper and told him to figer it out for him self!!! Now i have my handsom lil boy that i love s much!!! and me and the father dont get along for nothing!

I went to the walk in clinic. When the Dr. told me it was positive I told him to ``shutup``. Then I ran outside to tell my boyfriend who was waiting in the car. We went home and phoned his parents then my mom, then we went down the street to tell my dad. It was very exciting for us!

My husband made me go take the other test right away. When that was positive too, he ran out of our apartment to go tell his friend who lived down the hall. He was super excited.

DS was 6 months old when I found out I was pregnant with DD. My neighbor told me she was pregnant the night before and we had joked around about me being pregnant. I seriously didn't think I was pregnant because I was still breastfeeding and hadn't had a cycle yet. But after joking around with my neighbor, I started to question it. So on the whim of a joke, I tested the following morning. Yea, the joke was on me when it read positive! I remember my hands shaking as I handed the test to DH. I was beyond excited as was my husband. But then the worry of having 2 children close in age started to set in.
