So recently I have moved my daughter to a toddler bed. Well she has been in it a week and has fallen out of it twice on the 16th. I just go and pick her up and put her back in bed . I did place a couple pillows by her bed. It is high up for some reason. I know my nieces bed is pretty low to the ground. Should I put her mattress on the floor

? or just keep putting the pillows by her bed and she wont fall out anymore? I could always get her a bigger bed rail. this one is like maybe 14 inches long so it doesnt even cover half the bed. any advice would be helpful.

hi, I put my kid on a bed when he was 15 months. No bed rails need it, theres is this baby safety bed belt that helps the transition crib-bed . I found it on ebay under the description BABY DREAMS -Safety bed belt for babies. Great deal ! they can move while sleeping, the safety belt just stops the baby come close to the edge of the bed. In my experience best thing ever, didn´t have to buy travel cribs or anything. We travel a lot so the safety belt was great for traveling is compatible with any type of bed.

Well if she keeps falling out, then either a bigger bed rail or moving the mattress to the floor are both viable options.
We put pillows out for the first couple of weeks because our son kept trying to climb out over the bed rail instead of scooting down to the end of the bed with the opening.
If the pillows are working for keeping serious injury from occurring then I would leave it for a week and see if there is any improvement.
