first birthday parties

My son will be 1 on September 5th and we're having family and 4 play date friends over. First we thought BBQ..too much work! Then we thought pizza...kids can't eat it (all about 1ish). So now we're thinking pasta with salad and bread. Real simple, no games, just people visiting. All primary colors with a cupcake theme. He'll have plenty of years to pick his own theme when he'll actually remember and care. This is more for Mom to celebrate his first year and show she cared enough to celebrate! ;)







Hey! My son Damian will be one on the 5th of September as well! We are having close friends & family over for a bbq....hopefully the weather will co-operate with us :) We are just having hotdogs, chips & cake. The cake has 3 dumptrucks on it playing in a mud pit.......we live beside my landlord who owns a construction company, so he is fascinated with anything that has an engine lol His first word was truck so I thought it was appropriate for his theme :) I can't believe how fast this year went but I enjoyed every minute of it and can't wait to see what happens next!!!!

my twin girls amelia and madison are 1 on the 6th of sept, we are have family and close friends around for a little party on the 5th due to family traveling from sunderland and london.x

My daughter turns 1 on Sept 6th and my oldest son turns 5 on Sept 19th so we are doing a joint b-day party (2 big cakes and 1 small one just for her to dig into) :) I have always invited just family to these... but we only have 2 family members living in NC with us & the rest are down in FL so I am also inviting 4 families that we are friendly with at church (all with little ones from ages 1-9) should be lots of fun...gonna do it from 2-4 pm so baby doesn't get too worn out and gonna serve lots of snacks and finger foods so no big meal to worry about.

My daughter will be 1 on Sept. 17 and since my son will be 9 on Sept. 20 we are having their parties together. We will be having friends and family there and seperate cakes of course! lol My daughter Nakia will have a princess theme and my son Ryan will have a pirates theme.

My daughter will be one on the 17th. We are planning a party on the 19th with all of her friends and family. I'm going to have a polaroid camera there to take everyone's pictures, and let them use their picture to decorate a page of her scrapbook. This way, even if people aren't still around she'll be able to see what they looked like. I'm hoping to do a scrapbook of each years birthday party... at least until she gets to an age where she doesn't think her mommy is cool anymore!

hey my sons birthday is on september 17th aswell and he will be turning one :) me and his daddy were just goign to take him too the zoo and have a wee cake for him in the hosue becuase he wont really remember a party so on his actual birthday we're going to take him to visit friends and family then o nthe sat go t othe zoo - knowin are luck if we had a party it would rain anyway lol (thats what ya get for living in northern ireland) lol :P

hi nicole,my little boy cian will be 1 on the 29th of september,were having his party on the 26th of september,were getting a bouncy castle out the back and putting up a marqee(not sure of spelling) coz you cant be too sure with the irish weather,hes my first child so id really like to make the day special for his 1st birthday.most of my friends have children so it will be a full house on the day im sure.im like a big child i think im looking forward to it more than the kids and please god if the rain holds off we can have a bbq later in the day.you've got me thinking now about what we'll do on the actual day of his birthday??? sandra mc gowan

My youngest daughter will be 1 on Sept 15th. Im having a small party at home the Saturday before. My neice's birthday is on the 17th and she's having her party the weekend after. Close friends and family are invited. Im ddong the same for her as I did with the other girls (so there is no jealousy later on). It's a princess type theme. She gets to wear the exact same party dress and crown cone hat that the other two wore. I cant believe she's already a year old! It flew by so fast that I feel like I missed it completely! I cant wait for the picture though! I'm having all three of their 1st birthday pics put in a collage frame. It's going to look so adorable seeing them all three in the same outfit at 1.

My boys, Ben and Tristan will be 1 on Sept 23rd. I made their dr appointment the day before so they don't get shots on their birthday! We are having a train birthday party, they really don't have a favorite, but I want to make a train cake. We will be having family and friends over for a Sunday afternoon party.

My baby will turn 1 on Sept. 21st and we're having family over our house for an early lunch, cake & ice cream. We're doing a pink/purple balloon theme with the number 1 in the center of the balloons (hard to describe but soo cute!).

OMG!!! My son's DOB is Sept 1 as well. He will also be 1 and his "party" will actually be like a playdate with my friends. But the catch is only babies and toddlers are invited. NO EXUSES!!! Not even my family are invited. It's from 1-4, it gives him time to wake up from his nap and around 4 to take another nap. I have invited all my other friends and family to a BBQ that same day but after 6.

Zacheary's bday is the 15th and we are doing his party on the 13th. We aren't doing anything big as his father and I are getting married 2wks later (I got enough to plan right now, lol). We are just having a handful of family/friends over for some cake and ice cream.

We're doing a monkey themed party, as he loves to make monkey noises when he sees them at the zoo or in a book. We are having it at our church (free space) and inviting some out-of-town family to stay with us and then church friends. Mostly, it will be families with little ones (3-5). We will have a pull pinata and I'm making a monkey shaped cake.

well the age group for her party is really going to be 3 to 7 so we are getting a moon bounce and like a water balloon toss and maybe a pinata just some little things to keep the little ones entertained
