First Father's Day gift idea's

Hi what do you think of this for a fathers day gift... make hubby his favorite breakfast, then go for walk with family at park and have little picnic with snacks and maybe a beer or wine for hubby. Then take kids to visit my parents... give dad a gift...leave kids there for couple hours...take hubby home, order movie http://www.amazon.com/Fathers-Day-Gifts-... maybe something rated R, then a little somethin to let him know how much i appreciate him,...then pick up the kids.

fathers day was fun for me and tyler we did some finger painting and his daddy loved that it was hand made by tyler..

My friend gave a neat idea:  To buy something for your baby to play/use with your husband...something that your husband also likes to do....  ie.  my husband likes to play golf, so I'm getting him a monogrammed shag bag for his golf balls then I'm also going to give him a toy golf set for my son to use (Fisherprice or whatever) and tell him that this is something he and his little golf buddy can do together.

i actually got something for my partner last year for his first fathers day it was a father-to-be prezzie i hunted high and low but needed help with ideas for this one so thanx some great suggestions guys xx

I'm going to get a picture professionally done of me and little man where we both are looking in each other's eyes. Then going to make that the center of a photo collage and then paste a bunch of other pictures of daddy and his boy together. Then I'll write a poem on something on the lines of "You are a special father and I love you both so much. Everytime I look into our son's eyes I see you..." Still working on that.

my husband has a landscaping company on the side he just started this summer for a little extra money. so i printed out business cards and tee shirts for him. he has said he wanted them but he will never get them his self. also i was thinking about doing the hand/foot print on a shirt or a piece of pottery( this will also be a great keepsake)

Daddy being a hockey fan..I have the cutest picture of the two boys and Dad all dudded up in their jerseys and t-shirts. I have already had it enlarged into a 5x7 and will find a fun frame to put it in. he'll love it. otherwise I always have a card we (my older son and I) make for Daddy. We always trace our hands and decorate it with stickers my son likes. I also have done the stamped hand print on the outside of the card. too cute.



Don't forget about Grandpa's too. He really liked the framed pictures of the little one, even better if you can send one that has the both of them in it.

My husband loves to fish. I am planning to have his dad and brother come to town and take them all on a picnic/ fishing trip with our twin sons. I am going to surprise him with the trip, he doesn't know his family is coming to town for it and I am also going to get the boys some small fishing poles because they love to hold things. Photos only of course, but I think he will love it!

I'm getting my husband a good tool box. This serve 3 purposes: 1) he wants one so he'll like it, 2) hopefully I'll quit finding his tools all over the house once they have a permanent home all together, and 3) we have a son, and what son doesn't love to go through daddy's toolbox? Even though he's only 8 months old, he already wants to get his hands on the screwdriver. =)

We ahve a "Color Me Mine" here in Pittsburgh (where you paint pottery and they glaze it for you) and my sister would do this with her kids and thought it's a cute idea . . . get a tile from there and go get the childs hand or foot print and write Happy Father's Day on it wiht the date or soemthign cute and then get it glazed and pick it up! Also, his favorite Superman Mug just broke, so I'll probably go find him a new one!

Ooooh! All of these are good ideas. I've thought about doing the coffee mug thing, and I've also thought about getting him accessories for his grill, since grilling season is right around the corner.

that sounds like a great idea i got mine a camo cover for the tree stand that i got him for christmas were hunters so it will excite him lol weve been trying to find a sheild forever but thats what i got him for fathers day but ur idea is to sweet
