my son austyn was also born on september 9ht 2008, he was 5 weeks early and only weighed 5.1lbs. he is now up to 17 lbs.

Madeleine (born sept. 11th) shocked us when she was born because she was only 7 lbs. 11 oz! The doctor was sure she would be bigger than my two others who were 9 pounds and over. My uterus was huge (lots of extra fluid), but she was tiny and delicate. Now, she has caught up to the others. She is now just under 20 lbs and fills out 12 month clothing. She is not really chubby, but is very long.

My Julianna was born 9/29/08 at 8lbs 3oz, and she weighted 18 pounds at her check up three weeks ago. She's been breastfed mainly and wears 9-12 clothes. Yes she's big for her age, but I don't worry because she gets it from her father's side.

Jesse was born 9/26/08 at 4lbs 9oz and now weighs 14lbs 6 oz. He can wear a 3-6 month in footed pj's but still wears 0-3 in regular clothes. He is getting a lot longer but not big enough around to keep the 3-6 pants up.

Mallory was born Septmeber 15th she was 6 lbs 4 oz at birth and now weighs about 13 pounds. 3-6 months clothes are too big on her but her 3 month clothes are getting too small. She was 2 weeks early.

Everett was born Sept 27 2008 at 7 lbs 12 oz and at his 4 month checkup on Feb 9 he weighed 16 lbs 10 ozs!! I'm sure he's hit 17 lbs by now. But good lord, at least he's not one of those 20 or 23 pounders! Yikes!! I couldn't imagine having to carry any more baby around!

Ada was born on September 18th at 6lbs 12oz, @ 2 months she was 8 lbs 14 oz. She hasn't had an appointment since but we are guessing she's probably a little under 10 lbs. Doc has no concerns about her weight. I guess I just have skim milk :)

Nicole was born on Sept 24th 14 weeks early.She was 35 cm long and weighed 1 lb 14 oz @ birth.She is now 5 lbs 12 oz.She is still in the NICU wont be home for Christmas but she will be soon enough

Torey was born Sept. 4th and weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. I weighed her (fully clothed with diaper) yesterday at my 3 year old's appointment and she was 13.4!! But I figure take off a pound or so for clothes and diaper. Her cheeks are so round!

Everett was born Sept. 27th at 7 lbs 12 oz, 21 1/2 in and now weighs in at (per his 12/5 office visit) 14 lbs 10 oz and is 24 1/2 in. We've moved onto size 3-6 mos clothing and size 3 diapers - the same size his 22 month old sister wears!! He is soo hard to carry around!!

Wow! what a wide variety of answers. It's so nice to be able to go on here and read these, so that we all feel somewhat "normal" Nathan was born 9-9 and was 3 weeks early. He spent 3 weeks in NICU (because he wouldn't take a bottle and they wouldn't let me BF him until I had him transfered!! another story..He left the hospital weighing 6 lbs 6 oz. and I took him yesterday to the Dr for diarrhea, and he weighed 10 lbs 5 oz. Small...but Dr wasn't concerned. I'm hoping for 12 pounds by his 4 month.
