my daughter has been on pediasure for the last 8 months and has only gained 6.5 lbs and she eats non stop. she drinks a 6 pack a day, she weighed 19lbs 4oz when she was 12.5 months and she only weighs about 20lbs now, it is slow long road, Rhaychel is only in the 10th percentile.

My son is 15 1/2 months and weighs 15 lbs 10 oz....about the 30th percentile. As long as she is healthy I wouldn't worry about it. My son has not been very healthy yet all I hear is "he looks healthy" because his weight is near average. Weight is not everything, lots of babies are at the smaller end of the charts and are jsut fine !

my son was born 9-3-08 and he is since yesterday 16 months and he weights 30 pounds and height 35'' 5/8....so he is a BIG little baby boy

The perfect answer is....there is no certain weight that he should weigh. All babies are different with different gene pools and frames. Some are good eaters and some are picky eaters, some are very active while others aren't. As long as your doctor says that he is on track with a steady weight gain and he is healthy that is all that matters. Don't worry mama! He's perfect!

My son Logan just had a shots appt at 15 months and he weighed 24lbs. and is 2ft. 8inches. He is in the 50th percentile for his weight and 55th for his height. He doesn't really eat a lot either but he drinks plenty. He is quite the grazer. He is constantly on the go. He dances and plays and climbs a lot.

My sons b day is 9-13-08 on his 15 month visit he was 31 in & only 18 lbs 8 oz which the dr said was underweight he's been drinking pediasure to gain weight,we go back in a couple weeks for a recheck

My son was born 9/6/08 and at one year he weighed 19 lbs 5 oz. It really depends on if your baby was breastfed or formula fed. Formula fed babies usually weigh more. Also, they do go through phases where they don't eat as much....teething for example. My son eats everything!! Milk, eggs, cheese, pasta, chicken....you name he will eat it and he is still pretty little. He is just shy of 16 months and weighs 22lbs.

My son weighed 19lbs 6oz last week when he was weighed, he was born 6lbs 7oz and lost 1kg in a day January last year when I started him on formula and we soon found out he is allergic to milk.
The Health Visitor is not worried as he is happy and hitting all his milestones and he eats lots of food. Also he is very active so he is burning off a lot of his weight.

my son was 10lb-4.45kg at birth on 24th sept 08 and now weighs 36lb-15.6kg, but my eldest son was 41lb wen he started primary school aged 4 1/2, he is 9 now and is huge not sure of his weight but hes wearing 14-15yr old clothes and 5'3''

my son Hayden was born on the 15th sept we r from Australia and he weights 10kg,i dont know how much that is in lb and oz.He never stop eating but in saying that once he started walking dosnt stop always on the go even thought he is a bit small 4 his age he looks and eats healthy.......:-)

hi, Im Paytons mom and I just took her to the doctors office today. she weighs 18 pounds and shes a little over 2 feet tall. She loves meat and veggies but she doesnt eat much. the doctor said she was fine. If I wanted her to put more weight on to make sure she drinks milk Not fat free milk. If I wanna make sure shes getting enough to add a little pedisure to it. Shes walking and saying a few words. shes just small. The doctor said its nothing to worry about.

At my son's 15 motnh apt he was 29lb 12oz . . . He's above 95% for both height and weight, so is proportional and healthy :) Just on the large side!

Hi my baby was born 9-11-08 she weights 32pounds 5oz the doctor told me that she is fine and healthy. I was concern about her weight cause i thought it was too much but he told me that not all babies are the same. If your baby is healthy dont stress yourself too much

my little girl is 11kg and in the healthy range, i have a red book with a graph in it to show me what is healthy weights for our babies for their age. if your worried though just ask your doctor whats a heakthy weight for your child

Oh good, we don't have the only huge baby. My son, born 9/11/08 is 31 lbs. but not fat, just tall. Mostly 2T clothes now.

My daughter (born sept 15, 2008) weighs 23 lbs. I wouldn't worry too much about percentiles, etc. I used to be worried, because she used to fall in the 25th percentile, but my visiting nurse said that since my daughter is so active, she would probably not gain as much. She's burning so much energy running around and being active. Talk to your doctor is you're worried though!

Every baby is different. If his doctor is not concerned than nither should you be. My oldest son was always tall and skinny. He was continually in the 90th percentile (US)for height and 10th percentile for weight. He's now 13 1/2 is 5'9" and weighs 110 lbs. He's still skinny and proud of it. My daughter is built the same way, but not as tall. She was born Sept 30, 08 and could size wise still be in the infant car seat. She is just 20 lbs.

As long as hes gaining weight at a steady pace theres no need for concern. There is no magic number for what your baby should weigh at this age, or any age for that matter. Some kids are just smaller than others.
My son is 20lbs at 15months but when my daughter was that age (shes 5yrs now) she was 27lbs.
As long as your childs doctor isn't concerned and like I said before as long as he is gaining weight at a steady pace he is perfectly fine. It sounds like you give him a wide variety of foods to eat so I'm sure he's no where near unhealthy :)

Eryka was born September 16th and she now weighs 21lb. People say she is small for her age, but the doctor says she is perfectly fine and healthy....go with the doctor on this one

I live in washington state. my little ian is 23lbs. he is almost 15 months. im not worried his doctor is not worried. you should be either. my niece is a monthe younger healthy as a horse. she is 18lbs pounds. your little one is doing great.

Not british, I live in North Carolina in the US. He hasn't had a regular doctors appt since his birthday (the one in November was something else), but at his one year appt he was 23pounds 4 ounces, and they said that was just slightly above average, around 55-60th percentile.

At the end of November Xiao had a doctors appt and he weighed 26.5 pounds (born Sept 16, 2008). As long as your doctor isn't concerned about it I wouldn't worry about it though. A friend of mines daughter is a year older exactly, same birthday, and she weighs three pounds less than Xiao.
