Hi! My 9 month old son, Damian, has decided to start screaming for no reason! He has everything he could possibly need, so I am sure he is just doing it for the sake of doing it. Anyone else experienced this yet? He hasn't done it in public as of yet ( thank God!), my Mom says he has just "found his voice"....hoping this too is just a phase..... whaddya gals think?

Has anyone read a good book or an article addressing the screaming? My daughter screams for attention and for food. Neither of which she is deprived of! She is really sweet and engaging most of the time but this new screaming habit is terrible!

My little guy does the same thing when he wants attention. He clenches his fists, screams at the top of his lungs, and then laughs when I look at hime. I'm hoping it's a phase too!

Camden screams but it sounds so fake! I know he just wants me to look at him, but I just completely ignore him cuz I know absolutely nothing is wrong with him.

Kortana started that early and then she ended up with a really bad cold where she really couldn't scream let alone really cry (poor baby) Now she has found it again and is very verbal on top of all the screeching. I hope it's just a phase

My son shrieks as well. He does it when he is excited so far. When he is hungry and I am not getting the food to him fast enough he screams. Actually, since I screamed back at him one day, he doesn't do it as much now. I just copied the way he was screaming and he looked at me like I was crazy! It was quite funny!
