My son was potty trained by 16 months he just wanted to use the potty and my oldest daughter was totally potty trianed at 2...

Well every child is different as you know from your other children.

I have been working in child care for 10 years. Potty training is an experience...

My son is not at all interested or ready (he isn't going long enough between dry diapers --recommendation of about 2-3 hours between wet diapers before trying potty training in my experience).

It sounds to me that despite having an interest in the potty she's not ready to take the next step of going in the potty. She might not be comfortable enough yet.

Are you using a potty or a seat on the toilet? I have known kids to refuse the potty and only go on the toilet and vice versa.

You can try a sticker reward chart for going in the potty/toilet. She gets a single sticker for trying, 2 stickers for going. I found that worked really well with the girls.

Don't stress over it and if nothing really changes back off for a little while and then retry.

She might be closer to 3 before she is trained just to be totally different from her siblings.

Good luck!
