My 14 month old son is totally peeing through his diapers at night. In the mornings he has totally soaked through his onesie, sleeper, bedding, etc! Its soo gross, and I bet he would sleep longer if he was dryer. Any tips or suggestions?

We use Pampers Overnight and just to be safe, I also put a mattress pad (available at BRU) ontop of the crib sheet; easier to change then all the bedding.

I had that problem with my daughter for the longest time. She went to sleep way before I did so I just change her before I go to sleep and it has pretty much eliminated the problem. Now it only happens if I am too lazy and/or forget to change her right before I go to bed.

I use huggies overnight diapers...make sure you change your son into the diaper right before you put him in his crib as well. The last sippy cup my son gets is at dinner as well, which I noticed helps a lot. good luck!

When that happens to us we buy a bigger size diaper for bedtime. Holds more liquid.

We use Pampers Cruisers during the day and Pampers Overnight Dry at night since we were having the same problems. Every once in a while he'll even saturate the night diapers, but overall they work fairly well.

Have you tried limiting his liquid intake? Most times (PLEASE don't qoute me as saying everytime, I said most, this is not true for all babies!!!!) buying a different type of diaper doesn't really resolve the situation. At 13/14mo old he really doesn't need milk or anything to fall asleep with, if you are giving him something before bed then try giving it to him an hour or so before. My son only ever wears one type of diaper and it is changed often to avoid leakage.

I also use Huggies overnights, never had a leak but they are at max capacity by morning. We use Huggies supreme during the day and those work great too!

Huggies Overnights! I used those for my daughter and now for my son. They work great!

I use the Walmart brand diapers during the day, but we use the Pampers Overnight Dry for overnights. Same as Shelly, he still wakes up with the occasional 'pee explosion', but it's not nearly as often! Good Luck!

I started using Huggies overnight diapers when Ryland was about 10 months. He kept waking up soaked as well. We still have occasional leaks but it has gotten much better. My sister in law used some sort of insert in the diaper for all three of her boys but I don't know what these are called, I think she found them at Walmart.
