Hi! I'm newbie Rachael, mom to girls Lynnon 7(12/1/02), Ryan 4 (9/15/05), and Gray 1 (9/11/08). Lemon-drops was 2 weeks late but normal weight (7 lbs 13 oz) and normal development, in fact she was by far my most easygoing baby. Ryan was 2 weeks early, was a chunk (8lbs 10oz), got stuck while being pushed out (thought it was pretty weird when the nurses jumped on my bed and started pushing on my belly...was thoroughly startled when my doctor's directions went from relaxed to urgent), was a grump for the first few months of her life but is the most laid back child now. And then the baby, Gray Leigh. She was one week early (7 lbs 12 oz) and is most def the baby! She's very sweet, when she wants to be, but already is manipulative and will let you know rather quickly if you're doing something she doesn't like. She has a craaaaaazy connection to Lynnon! They are kindred spirits of sorts. Ryan and Gray on the other hand have struggled for a long time to find a balance. Ryan has nearly loved her to death on a number of occasions. Gray has a very defined personal space and is quick to let it be known that its being invaded! Being a mom to 3 girls can be very trying and exhausting but there's nothing that compares to snuggling on the couch, reading a book, watching a movie, or just rambling about our day. Love them dearly...when I'm not talking myself out of strangling the next one that tattles, screams as a response, or says the dreaded "MOMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAA!" Ya'll know what I'm saying, don't you?? Being a mom would be so easy if they didn't make it so difficult! ;-)

Hi ladies, I'm Sharon. My husband Mark and I are the extremely proud parents of Frankie (Franklin, born 9/11-due 9/16). I had a c-section due to gestational diabetes, 7 lbs. 7 oz. and healthy as a tiny horse. Frankie is extremely head strong, determined, hot tempered and unstoppable. We just sit in awe of him watching everything from the way his lips move while he concentrates on dismanteling all of his toys, books, what have you, to the way his garble actually makes sense. He is our sun, moon and stars.

Hi Amanda! My daughter Adrianna was born on Sept. 16th and besides being tiny...she is very advanced for her age. She was 3 weeks early and has Situs Inversus!! (All her organs are on the opposite side) Her peditrician states she is on a 3-4 year old level already...she's a bird and the light of our eyes!

Welcome Amanda, and other September moms! My daughter Jordan was born Sept 13 but seems to be one of the few not early-she was a full 7 days past due date (9lbs 4oz!). This site can be great to get info and advice from other moms, or just vent if something is driving you nuts! I only discovered it within the last mo or two, but it has helped alot!

my son lee was born sept 16 and he was 4 weeks early (due oct 13). he only had to spend a few days in the NICU (I was lucky). he is doing very well now and you would never know he was early. in fact, most people think he's older than he really is.

Hi Ladies! My name is Amie and my daughter, Madeleine, was born on Sept. 8th, and was 7 weeks early. Other than having to stay in NICU for two weeks, she has done so well. She has hit all her milestones within the expected range, however she has been a late talker. Hope all is well with your daughter!
