my son who is just over 13 months has started climbing out of his crib. i'm worried he will hurt himself if he falls, is anyone else going through this also or any advice?

IMO If you have a standard crib it's probably safer to give him the freedom a toddler bed offers if he's climbing out. If your worried he will get up and wander at night you could always put a gate in his door so he's at least contained in his room.

Sounds like it's time for a toddler bed (or to convert your crib to one). When I thought my son would sleep in his crib, I decided that I would convert it to toddler bed once he started trying to climb out. I've been debating converting my son's crib to the toddler bed, b/c I'm hoping he might be more willing to sleep in it that way. We still co-sleep b/c it's the only way I can get sleep...I know I'm in for a heap of trouble w/ that ;-)
Do what feels right to you. Good luck!!
