Sports? Is it time or too early?

Hello , my twin boys will be starting preschool this August 2012, and my husband and I had been discussing if we could start our boys in a sport or activity that they can being evolved with. I feel that one will be more adaptable then the other , with the whole focusing and pay attention. At home we have a little tikes ball hoop and soccer , plus tee ball. Though they play maybe 15-20 mins then they are on to the next thing. I am wondering if it will be too much for a my boys (that will be four in sept 2012)to handle or jus give a chance ... I do not want to put much pressure on them either... I would like to to interact with other kids their age , and have an experience. I need to hear how others think of this and any advice if you have done this before or how you introduce your kids to sports?
Ahead of time thank you!

My son will be 4 in Sept, we have put him in dance this coming fall. He is forever dancing to any type of music on tv and stereo, and I think he would be great at it. We missed the opening for soccer this year by 2 weeks, so we will be putting him in it next year. I think the best thing to do is have a trial class to see how your child does and if they like it. The dance has a 3 week trial period where you can take him out and not lose all your money. As long as they are having fun and listening i'd say go for it, but if it looks like its too much pressure, pull him out and wait a while longer, then try again. Good luck :)

My 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 kids both play t-ball and love it. Sometimes they play sometimes not.
