Just wondering what you are going to get your kids, or your parents or friends, or people that already have kids older what are your favorite type of toys.
Need to know asap as it is soon approaching, and people are asking!

Could anyone else say puzzles...oh I could! Huge success in our house always. We also got him a play shaving set and a moon-in-my-room to hang on the wall. It doubles as a night light and gives us a chance to introduce the moon to him. Love Fat Brain toys!

For my daughter's birthday we bought her an art easel, a Minnie mouse shopping cart, a basketball hoop, and a my little pony play doh set.

Puzzles. Not the ones where they just take a shape out and put it back in, but actual puzzles. Melissa & Doug make some decent sturdy wooden puzzles and our son has loved every one of them he has received.
Our son has also learned our love for books so books are likely going to be included some how.
Toy wise? Anything transportation related for our kidlet. He has also been asking for a telescope but we told him he had to wait till he is older. We might get him a toy one if we can find one.
Any form of block. We have many, wooden block shapes, these ones I call bristle blocks, Duplo, mega blocks.
On the art end of things, markers and stamps are the favourite.

My daughter loves books. Any books about any thing (age appropriate, obviously). She is also into stickers and crafting. She got markers, construction paper, glue, paint etc for her birthday. She also enjoys play-doh and bubbles. We picked up some bath toys at a yard sale a while ago, and they are hours of fun in the evenings too. :)

Jennifer, thanks I have heard of YBCR but haven't got the set too many mixed reviews for me to get it. We have the bigger leggos she doesn't seem to like them that much yet. Thanks for the suggestions. My daughter likes flashcards just of animals shapes.

We LOVE our flashcards! Peyton loves to learn and she adores her flashcards. We got her the "Your Baby Can Read" set and she knows almost all of the words in them. She also recognizes all her letters, her numbers up to 10 (she can count higher but if you shower her those numbers she recognizes them) and we just bought her some very cool dry erase flashcards to help her learn to write her letters.

She also loves her dublo blocks (jumbo sized lego's for little kids). She's never seen Godzilla but she's got the whole idea down. She loves to build towers (or make me build them lol) and them smash them pieces!
