What is your baby's favorite toy?

I'm tired of spending money (and adding clutter) on toys that my 6-month-old baby girl isn't interested in! Her favorite "toy" is the remote control! (I even bought her a baby toy remote control and she won't even look at it!)

I'm looking for toys that will stimulate and teach her. She likes musical things, but she isn't quite big enough for the ones she has yet. What's a good toy that's easy for her to play with whether she's sitting up or on her tummy? Also, do any of you know of toys that will be played with for a while?

for small things like rattles and teethers Lucas seems to love his Sassy toys (ones a phone rattle, a ring with other rings on it and butterfly you freeze to help his gums.) He also has a small cow with rubber flat feet for chewing on.

For soft toys he likes pa-pa which is a soft panda bear from Fisher price or google pink from webkins ( if you get one of these watch her with it b/c it is not recommanded for a child under 3).

At night to go to sleep he needs his Hidden micky teddy ( bright teal) I take it out after he is asleep.

the other things he likes when playing together is him drum and his catapile both from leap frog.

But if you are looking for his all time let me have it not going to stop playing with it try the seahorse with the light up belly that sings when hugged from Fisher price Ocean wonders it plays music for about 8 minutes and you can also hear the sound of water too. Lucas has loved that since he was 2 months old. Before he could push the belly to to get it to play he used to cry for us to do it when it stopped. Also a friend of mines son who is now almost 3 yrs old will not go anywhere with out his he has had it since birth too. Here's a link for Toys 'r us but you can find them at target, walmart (they also sell it a bit cheaper too under $10.00)

I have found the water sounds on the ocean wonder line is very calming for my little one. He has the moble with remotecontrol to start it and the kick and play too.

Good luck
