My 22 months old son wears 3T, but I need to get ones with adjustable waists. He's 97% percentile for height and 15% percentile for weight.

I've also learned that the month-based sizing has absolutely no basis in reality. We live in Europe and I really like the sizing system here. You measure your child's height. The size corresponds with how tall they actually are! Age has nothing to do with it. Much easier to order online this way. Very little guess work.

My son turned 2 on Sept. 3rd and he is wearing 2-3T pants/shirts. Only his pants don't fit in the waist, he has the same problem as me... long legs, skinny waist. I wish they made 24 month waist and extra long length. :P

Same as yours! My son turned 2 on Sept. 6th. He wears size 3T shirts, and most of his 18-24month pants still fit him, and are pretty baggy. Although I did get him some 2T pants that are really big but I use a belt.

My son just turned 2 on Sept 6 and he's wearing a size 3T in tops and 2-3T in bottoms depending on whether or not they have the inside elastic tabs. He is tall and skinny. As far as shoes go, he is wearing a size 9.5.

Mine will be 2 on sept 30 and she's wearing shirts sized anywhere from 12m to 2t & bottoms in 18m to 2t. She's potty training too and her panty size is (most comfortably) 4t, but 2t and 3t's fit a little snugly.

My son will be two Sept. 24th and he can wear a size 3T in tops as well, but he's also like 18 or 24 months in bottoms. He's tall, but he's slim.

My Lo will be 2 on the 26th also and is in mainly 18 month clothes. if they are shorts or capris she can wear 12 months. But she does wear a size 6 in shoes. I have found that the adjustable waist pants fit her better cuz we fight the height battle. Our Dr. jokes and says she will be tall, really thin with a big head. lol we tend to buy her shirts in a size 18- 24 month so that it is easier to get over her head ( she gets this from dads side of the family, and they do grow out of it) She does love her shoes, she wont wear the same pair 2 days in a row! our little diva allready!

My daughter will be 2 the same day! Crazy. :) I guess January was a cold month for all of us mommies haha. Clothes are so different, she can fit in anywhere from 12months up to 2t & 3t. Her pants are another story, 18months.. For shorts she's in 9months to 12 months, depending on the fabric.. o.O She wears 2t 3t pull ups, depending on the brand. It's frustrating shopping for girl's clothes lol, so she gets her almost 4 (on Sept 8th!) year old brother's clothes for play clothes & her step brother's (who is a few months younger than her) handmedowns as well.

My daughter will be 2 on the 16th and she wears mostly 18 months, but she can still fit into 12 months. Any of her 18 month pants that don't have the adjustable waist are HUGE on her. She'll walk over to me waddling saying "Mommy, mommy uh-oh, help" lol But the ones that do have the adjustable waist I can put on the smallest setting and they are only a smidge long so she still has a little room to grow into them. Nearly all of her 12 month pants are too short, but shorts/capris she can still wear 12 month. Dresses she wears 18-24 month. Tops 18 month. She is in between size 4-5 in shoes.

She's only 31.25inches, 21lbs so she's a peanut. She'll be a shorty like me (4'11").

OK, I really love this site because it makes me feel better about a lot of the things that I experience with my son. I was thinking that he was too small for his age, he will be 2 on the 14th, he is wearing 18 mth pants, 12-18 mth shorts, and 24 mth shirts. It seems that he is in line with most of the others kids talked about in this conversation. I feel so much better.

WOW same birthday! My daughter will be 2 on the 26th of Sept... some ofher jeans are still 6-12mo! Most of her clothes are 12-18mo... t-shirts can be 24mo... but pants and shorts all 12-18mo... or they just fall off while she is running around. We are busy doing the whole potty training... and minus the nappy 18-24 mo is way way too big. She isn't short for her age... she loves food... but she is hovering close to 11kg, healthy and wears a size 4 or 5 depends on the type of shoe. (She is def going to be a fashion slave... unlike me - my child is obsessed with SUES)

My son wears 24mos to 2t just depending the style. He will be 2 Septemer 6. He's actually bigger than most kids his age so, I'm not sure how that is for some kids. He's taller than most 3 year olds but, is really skinny.

My son will be 2 on September 4th and is in anywhere between 18 month to 3t. It really just depends on the outfit and the child. The 18 month have been getting a little tight and the 3t are a little long, but I find whatever I can get that is cheap, I will take. Pants that are too long can always be rolled up, but when they are getting too tight, you have to just go up a size. I hope this helps! :)

My son will be 2 on Sept 27th and he wears 3t-4t (cuz they can shrink shirts) and usually about 2t-3t pants. They are usually a little long... He is not a chubby kid (31lbs) he is just well built... kinda stocky.... we think he is going to be our football player! LOL! His brother will be 5 on Dec 1st and he wears a boys 4-5 pants (with adjustable waist) and about a 5 in boys shirts. He is the tall & skinny one. Its wierd because the older one always pretty much wore the size that his age was and then the baby came along and totally confused me!! LOL
