Hi, my name is Alexis and I have a 2.5 year old son, Xander. We live in Logan City, Queensland. My son's father didn't leave me, he forced me to leave him. My son was around 1.5 years old and I found out my fiance was sleeping with a 17 year old. She knew he was in a relationship as I had met her as his friend.... Long story short I am now trying to get a healthy living arrangement for my son.

It's not easy having a 'active' father in a childs life sometimes.

Hi my name is Pauline and I have a 2yr old daughter Jessica. We hail from Mackay, Qld. I haven't seen or heard from Jess' dad since 3mnths preg. He was a bit of a tosser so I feel we are better off, however it would be nice to meet someone special. At present I am working 2 p/t jobs, however lack of sleep and a dirty house are going to put a stop to 1 of those jobs in a couple of months.

Hey Jess. I'm Mel, I'm a single aussie mum too (please tell me what SAHM means). I have an almost 4 month old boy and I'm from Adelaide. My son's father lives in Denmark and so far has not seen our son. I've just started the whole international child support thing and honestly don't expect to get anything for a good year. He has helped me out with 2 payments so far of $500, but that was only after I applied a lot of pressure to him and his family. Ah, the joys of single parenting
