Hi Everyone,

Just found out through the grape vine that my son's father and his wife are expecting. My son is an only child and lives with me and my boyfriend of 5 yrs (my son is 7). While my son does want a sibling i am concerned as to the emotional and financial toll this may take on my son's well being. Cause not only is he getting one but he is getting three siblings! yep his father and wife are expecting triplets. I worry that my son is going to be pushed aside once these new babies arrive. Not to mention his father already complains and cries poverty, saying he cant afford his child support. So I am expecting him to try and use this as an excuse to get a downward modification in his child support which i personally think is unfair. dont misunderstand im not trying to be unreasonable but if you cant afford your first child dont have any more at least thats my opinion. Also from what i found out the wife is about 5 months along and they have yet to tell my son which i think is unfair this is something a child needs time to process. Has anyone else gone through something like this?

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

my step daughters mom just recently had a baby and at first we were worried about how it would effect my daughter and my step daughter. when baby s was born we explained to g that s and k were both her sisters and everything seems fine so far. the ex and i had a long talk before she even got pregnant about how it takes a family to raise kids and that if i needed them or they needed me that we would be there for eachother. its kinda nice getting along with the ex. i know a lot of ladies cant say that.

I have just recently found out that my son's father and his wife are expecting! My son's "sperm donor" has absolutely nothing to do with him at all!! My son is only three years old, so i do not think i have to tell him! but it does frustrate me a little bit knowing that my son will have a sibling out there running around that he does not know...i know that you are worried about your son and how the new babies will effect him...my only advice is that when he comes home from his father's house, after the babies come, just give your son a lot of extra attention and let him know that he will always be special to you, no matter what!!
