Hi moms! I just need some advice...I have posted to other communities as well - hopefully that's alright. My ex-husband frequently goes to the large amusement park located in our city. He takes his girlfriend's 8 year old daughter and our almost 5 year old son. While my ex and the 8 year old ride the larger rides, my son is left alone to wait. This makes me sick to my stomach. I have tried to discuss this with my ex-husband, but he doesn't understand the gravity of his actions until something bad happens. Our son has been hurt multiple times in his care but thankfully nothing too serious. My son's father has not shown a lot of common sense in the care of our son. I have offered to go to the amusement park and care for our son. I have even offered to find a babysitter just to be with him. I am considering contacting a lawyer for advice. I just want to keep my son safe in the most amicable way possible. In some ways my ex-husband shows great intelligence - with money, household affairs, etc. Unfortunately he is not real bright when it comes to people. And Ideas??? Thanks so much! :)
