I haven't had my ultrasound yet to confirm but I've taken three at home tests and one at the doctor. I'm having a hard time believing I'm really pregnant since I did take the morning after pill. Am I the only one!?

I took the morning after pill - but just not the next morning- I took it with in the 72 hour window. The nurse said its most effective right after, but she told me I could still take it, so I did. But it didn't work, I now have a 2 year old.

I never took the morning after pill...but I know it is possible to get pregnant after taking it. It isn't an 'abortion pill', meaning if you became pregnant, the pill doesn't end that pregnancy. It's only to stop you from becoming pregnant within, I believe, 48 hours after taking the pill...because sometimes the sperm doesn't meet the egg until a couple of days after having sex. So if you took the pill after unprotected sex, you may have already been pregnant when taking the pill. Sorry if this is an unwanted pregnancy, those are never easy...I know from experience! But I wish you well with whatever happens :) Just remember, everything happens for a reason...good luck!
