I am a 19 year old single mother working as hard as i can to support me and my son. I was wondering if anyone knows of any local charities that help provide christmas presents to families in need? We live in Chapel Hill, NC. Thanks, Angel & Damon.

As others have said check local churches, salvation army and check for Toys for Tots. Many may have already had deadlines but but some might still be able to help. Good Luck. and have a Merry Christmas.

We did salvation army our church and then her school gave out forms from a local radio station that does a toy drive for kids.

This late in the game it is hard most agencies already have there sign ups done, but I would still try your local churches. we have a Christmas store at our church and some times have extra. I would try the salvation Army, rotary club, local clubs like the war vets, american legion, Moose club, goodwill, thrift stores, local radio stations. Hope this helps and you are able to get help.

I know sign up has already ended for Wichita, KS. You might try with the Salvation Army. They may know of a program within your area.
