My exhusband took my son for a christmas visit this week he lives in oklahoma i live in arkansas and now he doesnt have the money or the time to bring him home. He doesnt pay child suport and he expects me to come and get him its 600 miles round trip and i dont have the money either due to christmas straining my budget. Our divorce papers say he is the one responsiable for transportation. What should i do?

Call the police if the date comes and goes and your children are not home. Have him charged with parental kidnapping.

Also get your lawyer involved. In some cases the police will not become involved but a judge will. After the judge gets invloved then the police will.
Some juradications look at this as being a civil matter and will not allow their officers to be involved until a judge is.

call the police, be prepared to give them copies of the papers. he is in violation of the court order.

I agree, let him know that if he does not return your son by a certain date then you will be filing a missing person's alert because he is in violation of a court order

Call the police he is breaking a court order... If not find the money to get your child... I dont know what I would do without my boys.. They wouldnt have gone in the first place.. But you did the right thing in letting him have holidays with the child.. Get him up on charges... thats breaks all trust right there
