Does anyone know of easy clean up self feeding foods for a 10 month old with cleft lip and palette to eat?

Son with cleft lip and palette learning to feed himself-what is safe and easy to clean up? He had his repairs done but he does have reflux, so what should I try.

You could try cubed pieces of cooked vegetables or fruit. Finger sandwiches with different pastes and spreads in them. Also fresh cooked chicken again cubed to help with picking up and putting into his mouth. You could try him with pretty much anything, just remember to cut it up small enough to fit in his mouth but not too small that he won't chew!!
