Has anyone had trouble with their little girl going through a stage of not wanting to wear panties? My little girl is 5 and all of a sudden will not put panties on without a fight!

I agree with Crystal.  Take her shopping and let her pick out her own.  Also, maybe do a quick check to make sure that there's no rash or if it hurts when she goes (bladder or UTI infection?).  Sometimes, kids can get a rash even from something as simple as switching laundry detergent - so make sure that the panties aren't itching or anything.

I have a 7yr old daughter that would go without any clothing if I let her, even in the winter! She doesn't like to wear socks, tennis shoes, she would wear flip/flops all year if she could.LOL She doesn't like tags and the toe line in socks. It 'DRIVES ME CRAZY", so don't feel alone.

I think they all go through some sort of phase on not wanting any clothes, but if she's 5, you should be able to try and talk to her or explain that it's important because otherwise she could get an infection or that panties help keep her clean. Maybe as an extra incentive, make a trip to the mall to pick out some cute panties she'll be excited about! (not srue wher eyou live, but JC Penny's by us has these satin girls panties that my daughter (6) thinks are super cool). But in the long run, it's not going to hurt her, and keeping your sanity while getting ready in the morning might be more important that wearing panties that day! :) This too, shall pass!
