I just started using some stuff about a 2 weeks ago called Sensa. It's reasonably priced (which is a major plus in my book) and it works. It's not an overnight solution but it helps the weight come off gradually...no chemicals. It's all based on smell and taste and it has ALOT of proven results. I've lost about 6lbs since I've been on it - now if I would throw in a little exercise the lbs would shed faster. If you'd like more info please let me know - I can send you the website info!

don't eat past 7 or 8 at night
EX: breakfast... egg whites, 2 pieces of extra lean turkey bacon and 1/2 an orange
snack: 1/2 GREEN apple with 7-12 almonds
Lunch: portion of grilled chicken (the size of the palm of your hand) with peas and lettuce
Snack: 1/2 GREEN pear and 1/2 tablespoon of natural peanut butter
Dinner: baked/grilled salmon (same portion size as before..always this portion size with protein) and some spinach and green pepper
ALWAYS mix your proteins and veggies together.. don't have any dairy or bread (carbs)

Welll, you can exercise all day but if you dont change what you eat it will all be worthless.
If you want to lose weight I suggest you begin to look into eating less processed foods such as fried foods, chicken nuggets (processed meat), and junk foods (processed snacks, sugar). You also have to add exercise to your regular routine. Try to include the whole family in your changes so that they can give you support, and make it fun for everyone!!!

Believe it or not since ex-husband out of my life the last month and a half have lost 20 pounds by watching carbs, smaller portions, eating the fruits, veges, proteins and good carbs and exercising for at least 30 minutes every day, almost every day. I was such an emotional eater and since stress is out of my life It's working, I am on a role and would like to lose about 60 more so I am keeping on, keeping on, and my son enjoys the time together too, so it's a win/win for me.
It helped that I was a stay-at-home mom that nursed. However, remember these things. One, portion control. Eat smaller portions when you eat. Two, keep a food diary or a food chart. Write down what you eat, when you eat it, and how much of it you eat. Be truthful, and don't skip anything. It will help you keep track of what's going in. Three, bump up the fiber. That helps make sure that things go through the system faster, and you lose more that way. Four, increase your activity level. If you watch TV do it on your feet with laundry in your hands, or with a bowl of dough and a spoon for stirring it. When you wake up in the morning go potty and then do a bunch of sit ups. Take the kids for a neighborhood walk. Do a couple laps of the entire length of the mall before going in to a store. When doing chores around the house wear a backpack baby carrier, or a front pack baby carrier, and do extra deep knee bends. However, don't over do things. Increase your activity level gradually. You should not feel achy at night. If you do, back off for one or two days, then go back at it again. If you are in the US Weight Watchers is good, or just finding a friend to lose weight with works.

I'm in the same boat, and my doctor who's also a friend, has encouraged me to start small. Try and do 30 mins of exercise per day. So I'm trying to walk to the shops and back every day with the kids, just to get some milk or bread or something. I have a problem with emotional/comfort eating, so I'm going to start seeing a psychologist to get to the issues behind the eating. Looking forward to making some healthy changes in my life. :-)

Small meals, cut fat, and extra carbs, more veggies and more water. Tae Bo really worked out for me and if you get a set of dvd's you can change it up. Have a vision of what you'd like to look like and keep in your mind that the only thing that is stopping you is your mind.

Well, for me when I needed to lose weight, I went ont he nutrisystem diet. I did it because I knew it would teach me how to eat properly. After doing it for a month, i had lost abotu 12LBS. I also worked out a lot so that contributed. Well anyhow, after that month was up, I continued eating the same way nutrisystem taught me. I eat five small meals a day and I make sure that is all healthy stuff. I cut fast food out of my diet and I didn't go out to eat until I got to my ideal weight. It really is all about eating right and excercising. And if you don't have time to work out it is still okay because just eating right will help you lose weight. You don't even have to do any crazy diets or count calories. Just know that eating heavy foods before bed is bad. Simple common sense and eating more often but less amounts is REALLY good for your motabolism! I hope I have helped!

What has worked for me is joining a slimming club, as the morale support and encouragement i found key. But i know its not for everyone. I think the secret to dieting is to drink lots of water and not to miss meals. Also eat when hungry. I fill up on healthy food such as veg, fruit, pasta and lean meat, and limit my dairy intake (i glass of milk, or small amount of cheese) and only have 2 slices of bread or 1 bowl of cereal a day. It really worked for me i avoided sauces and replaced them with fat free yoghurt, fromage frais or cottage chesse instead. I have lost 1stone 4Ib in 8 weeks!
hope u find this useful. If u live in UK i would recomend Slimming World club!
