Melissa,

I'm in a similar boat. I work full time and go to school and I have a hard time organizaing a schedule that keeps up with school, work, the kids and maintaining the house. I keep telling myself its ok to let some stuff at the house pile up but its hard to do. I have a 2 and a 1 year old that follows me around the house every step I take so its impossible to do anything while they are awake. Then at night, I'm drained myself. I'm sure it'll get easier with time and I sort of hold on to that hope.

That sounds about right, my daughter on the other hand is an only child and always complains that she wants to spend time with me and I try too as much as possible but I just feel sooo bad when I have to dedicate hours of studying to finish my nursing school. :/ I bought her a Vreader, Nintendo DS, she has cable I try to keep her loaded with things to do but since I am a single mother and she has no siblings she is constantly looking at me with her puppy eyes asking to play or "do something". My family is no help either everyone has their busy lives and I thought of getting her into sports or ballets but that is going to be more on my plate to handle. I just wish the dad were around and gave a Sh*^ to help me out, man I sure did pick him in H.S. :(

Depends on when you work. I have the typical 40 hours day job. But since I am the boss, I also bring work home with me. It's really not difficult. Work, pick up kid, make dinner, clean a bit, homework (daughter's not mine but I have to help her with it), pay with her, bath time (I get to read, watch tv, etc while she is in the bath), bedtime. Then I get MY TIME. Just pick up stuff for a little bit each night and then clean on the weekends. Studying might have to come after they are in bed. I do it all and I have no problem with scheduling the time. It's just making sure you have a schedule down and it becomes so easy.

WOW WOMEN U R TRYING TO DO ALOT! MY BEST FRIEND AND I WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS, EACH OF US HAS TWO KIDS AND ARE SINGLE FULL-TIME WORKING MOMS...HOWEVER WE ARE NOT ADDING THE SCHOOL PART LIKE YOU ARE. AND WE WERE TALKING ABOUT HOW WE DONT HAVE TIME TO DATE...I THINK DATING IS HARD FOR US BECAUSE WE NEED TO FIND A GUY WHO UNDERSTANDS THAT YOU DONT HAVE TIME TO TALK AND TEXT AND SEE THEM EVERYDAY BECAUSE YOURE BEING A GOOD MOM AND COOKING AND CLEANING (AND DEFINETLY NOT BRINGING ANY GUYS AROUND UR KIDS)...........SO I WOULD SAY.....DO YOUR SCHOOL WORK AFTER WORK BEFORE YOU PICK YOUR CHILD UP FOR THE DAY...THEN DO HOUSEWORK....MAKE TIME ON A SATURDAY NIGHT TO SEE FRIENDS AND DATE...KINDA STICK TO THAT SCHEDULE IF POSSIBLE,
