My one month old lil girl is so fussy and its hard to get her to sleep at night without making her become a heartbeat baby where she only falls asleep to the sound of my heart and then I end up fallin asleep wit her. I dont want her to get into either habit of havin to listen to my heart all the time or sleepin wit me.

I used to put on the ocean wonders aquarium on the waves sound. It is a similar sound to the heartbeat and as he grew it became a signal to him that it was time to go to sleep. That thing was a lifesaver! Try craigslist to look for one, they are always on there. My son used to adore the swing too, if he was especially crabby I would put him in his baby swing.

She may be getting colic. Try changing her formula. My first was fussy too. All I can say is get sleep when you can and eventually she'll grow out of it.

Good Luck!

Yes I agree swaddle her like they do in the hospital. Also my son has a teddy bear that I bought from Walmart and it makes the sounds of the womb. It puts him right to sleep. Try getting one of those my 1 yr old niece also falls asleep with one, we dont even have to turn hers on now she just snuggle w/ her teddy, its precious! Good Luck
