Finally something positive this great!!!! My kiddo and I do this little piggy(you know with the toes), Sing songs( actually I sing them). He is 16 months old. Games, pictures, stuffed animals make learning fun everyday. He also attends an awesome Daycare and they are always making learning fun. I would rather spend the day at DC with him , he has a blast.

i agree with monica. just incorporate learning into playing. everything a child is normally interested in (toys, games, etc) has colors to talk about, pieces to count, new words to explore. on mother's day i even got my 2 yr old daughter to help me bake a cake...the box had a picture of 3 eggs on it as part of the recipe...so i asked her to tell me how many eggs i needed and she counted them for me. she felt like she was helping, which is always motivating at that age. when kids are a bit older, money is a great way to teach math skills...and it's useful in real life. let them help you count out money they need for a toy or treat, or just let them count your spare change.

Count flowers and cars and birds.... Talk about everything, colours, feelings, go into a forest a let them feel bumpy trees and smooth rocks and prickly leaves LOL.... everything should be described!!
