Stay focused on what's important to you. Make a list, a time-line if you will....where do you want to be, what do you want to be doing (career-wise) and what do you need to do to attain your goals. Then....go for it! Nobody said this was going to be easy....and I hope that doesn't sound offensive at all.... believe me, I'm a single mom of 3 boys (a 15 year old and twin 3 year old boys) and I had been out of work for nearly 7 months with no child support. Thank GOD for a strong supportive family and great friends, but I also started going back to school, studying to get my nursing degree, and I refuse to give up on it until I'm licensed in the field I want to work in. I will make plenty of money to support my children myself and I'll be doing something that makes me happy! This is a tough road, I'm not gonna lie, I still have my difficult days, moments, hours, etc. But we have our down moments and have to remember the most important thing: our amazing children only have us to depend on and if we don't pick ourselves up and keep moving forward they won't have anyone. Keep your head up! You will get there!! If you wanna chat, I'm always happy to talk, or listen. Take care!

Don't let anything get in your way of getting to where you want to be but don't forget your child(ren) is/are your main priority. I am working a job I absolutely hate to get my degree for a career I will absolutely love and be able to provide for my child at the same time.

Get a great support system. Someone you can fall back on. Locate a job or return to school and get an education. This is what I did I scarifed 3 years of my life and time to get an education. Somedays were harder than other but I did and now I have a decent paying job. Don't be afarid to ask for help when you need it.

YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT IT IN THE SENSE OF WHATS BEST FOR MY CHILDREN. I WAS IN THE SAME SITUATION AND I HAD TO REALLY BUCKLE DOWN AND SET MY PLAN IN MOTION TO PROVIDE FOR MY CHILDREN AND WHEN I GRADUATED COLLEGE WITH A NURSING DEGREE I FELT LIKE I WAS IN HEAVEN TO KNOW THAT WHAT I HAD DONE AND THE SACRFICES I MADE ALONG THE WAY WAS WELL WORTH IT TO SEE THE SMILE ON MY BOYS FACE WHEN MY NAME WAS CALLED. JUST HAVE FAITH THAT YOU WILL DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO MAKE THE BEST CHOICE FOR YOU AND YOUR KIDS

For me, it's totally been about my home-based business. Being at home and involved in my daughters life as much as possible was so important to me. I make an excellent income that keeps growing each month. I used to worry, just like you about how I would ever get ahead. I'm so grateful to have been introduced to this amazing opportunity. It has changed my life in so many wonderful ways. I no longer worry about our future. I know that I will be able to give my daughter all of things that she deserves because of my business. Maybe this is something that you should consider too.
