Hi. Have you tried meetup? I have found it helpful in meeting other single moms in my area who are actually people to hang out with and swap babysitting etc with in the neighborhood. There might be a local chapter of parents without partners or other similar groups that meet regularly for group activities etc.

Hi I live in the caribbean. Im 25 and i have 2 children, 3yr old daughter and my son will be one next month.
Raising them by myself, i get exhausted, frustrated and sometimes bored.

Hey there all. I'm in Chicago, I'm 37 and have a 7 year old. Her father is still in her life and sees her fairly regularly, which makes me glad because my father was rarely there for me after my parents divorce.

Hey I am a single mom! I am Sarah and I am 25 from Kansas and I have a beautiful almost 1 year old, Illusia Willow. I am not everyone's cup of tea but love making new, open-minded friends so I will add you to my circle :)

As a side note, I wish there were more single mom blogs! I have one but there are only 2 or 3 others I know of (and follow) it makes me feel bad when I only see a lot of happily married couples and no single moms blogging about their baby's lives.

Hey Astina, I have to say that giving up a child is just as hard if not harder than raising one. I am the birthmother to a 14 year old girl in an open adoption, she was placed at birth, and a single mom to 18 month old daughter. Both roads are very difficult. Just want to let everyone know it's hard no matter what you choose.

Hey! I'm a single mom of two wonderful adopted kids ages 9 and 7 a boy and a girl. I really didn't have any intention on having kids but this was family and family should stick together. I'm always looking for single parents to talk to or meet or both :) It's not easy but it's still a great joy and learning curve for me in life.
