Male Role Models for Sons

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to join a big brother type program? My son has reached an age where he wants a male role model and bond. I am 14 hrs away from my family so he cant bond closely with the men in my family . I also do not have tons of male friends and the ones I have already have family.

Any suggestions?

Good role models could include his friends Dads. Certainly my girls don't have many male role models in their lives as their Dad doesn't participate in their life. They see my Dad on a regular basis and also socialise with their friends. As most of my girls' have their Dads in their life they get to see good male role models in their life.



Also worth maybe joining some sort of after school club where there are male leaders/instructors which gives your son good examples of how to behave/live up to.
