My son was 12 months old and totally non verbal besides a few grunts and the occiasionally "yea". Contact "Early Intervention" services in your area. Your pediatrician can give you the number. It is a free service. They come to your house and assess your daughter and can set her up with speech therapy for free. it worked miracles on my son. he is 3 now and won't shut up! LOL.. He has trouble pronoucing some sounds but for the most part he speaks so well.

If you are concerned, don't wait-call your pediatrician and discuss it wit her. You will feel alot better. EI is available in every state so you should have no trouble getting set up with services and it is free.

from my experience #1 sounds like she talks pretty good but I wouldnt give her anything intill you tell her dont point let her try to say what she needs! (example- pointing to cup instead of just giving it to her let her try telling you sippy or cup) some babies take a little longer! Hopefully that works good luck & may god Bless yall!
