Out of state visitation?

My daughter is 19 months old. We live in Arkansas and her biological father lives in North Carolina. I have talked to him twice since I got pregnant, the first time being when I had the ultrasound and found out baby was a girl, second was when I was in the hospital after having her. He was overseas (army) when I found out I was pregnant so I had to email him. We just got the paternity results back and until now he hasn't wanted a thing to do with her. Now of course he wants 50/50 visitation! I said no way in h*ll. He is married, they have three children. In fact, I have been doing all of the paternity/ child support set up with his wife. I'm worried that we won't be able to work out the visitation schedule on our own and the court will give him more than I think baby is ready for. Does anybody else have any experience with out of state visitation with such a young child? Any recommendations on schedules?

I know this was posted a couple of years ago, but was wondering if you found out any more about Arkansas out of state visitation rights. I live in Arkansas and am looking to move to WI. I have to either get his father to agree or file an intent to relocate with the court that awarded visitation rights. I cannot find anything online that pertains to Arkansas' standard out of state visitation. I think what I have came up with so far will be better than what they would give, but who knows.

Ask the court to have him come and visit in state and under your supervision. I live in Wisconsin and the court granted me that because of the baby ages. I don't trust the child's father let alone the wife just because there might be a conflict of interest. You know "Cinderalla".
