My daughter in 3 years old now. When i met her father we were both working at the same place and were never together. it was a total casual relationship and i ended up pregnant. when i found out i was pregnant i told him the next day and told him if he wants a DNA test he was more than welcome to one since we werent together and he doesn't know what i was doing and i didnt know what he was doing. he came to all of 2 doctors appointments while i was pregnant. he didnt even tell me his last name until i was 7 months pregnant. i asked about his family health history and his words were "take me to court, you want to know to much"
he was there when i gave birth and visited her for the first few months but then disappeared for a few months during christmas. when he came back he told me that he had another child. (there are 5 months between them) and there was a 3rd girl pregnant. (so within 15 months there are 3 children). he signed a contact that he drew up that he would give me $300 a month and i have never seen any of it.
he hasnt seen my daughter since before her first birthday. i found out that he had been arrested and sent to jail til at least march of 2013. this mothers day that just pasted he started to 3 way me from jail and send me letters saying he has changed and wants to be apart of her life.
his friend that he 3 wayed me has now called me and asked to see my daughter saying she deserves to know who her family is. (she has seen her other "family" twice in her life).
should i give him another chance? i really dont want to screw up my daughters head. she has no idea what a father is.
