I'm a single mom with an almost 3 year old girl and I work weekend nights in the ER. I'm wondering what those of you who work nights do about keeping your children on a regular schedule? how do you fit your sleeping time in as well as being mom? I can't afford daycare at this point and preschool isn't an option until August. Just curious how others do this. I feel like I'm always exhausted and not able to give 100% to her. Am I the only one??

well i worked night shift for 3 years and loved it. i did drink alot of AMP energy drinks. but i was able to be available during the day. if i was needed. and although my kids were a little older and in school . but you can sleep when she sleeps. or if you have family to help you out during the day for a couple of hours. let them take her so you can sleep but if not change her schedual to work around yours. she will adjust. and keep it constant.. but just rest when she sleeps. and when shes up and running that when you can do the house work and what not.
