anyone have any tips on dating with kids. i dated my ex for 8 years we have been seperated for over a year. i have 3 beautiful children. but i havent dated in such a long time i pretty much forgot how to do it lol

I found my current boyfriend of 8 months online on plentyoffish.com. I know wierdo right!?! but I was tired of meeting crappy guys at the local pubs and no one worth my while was attending community college or at least not in any of my classes. So we met there, but realized we had mutal friends and lived not even 15 mins from eachother. Anyways, you can find it when you are ready for it. I found this quote a while back and it really feels like it will fit here.

I started re-dating after breaking up with my daughter's dad of three years by internet sites, like tagged or something like that. I ran into some sorry guys and some we are just friends. I also tend to meet guys at local volunteer places like the nursing home or food It is hard to get back out there, I know but I hope that is helpful. Good Luck!

I'm going through the same thing. My advice is to get a criminal records check on anyone that will be around your kids. My roommate got a check on a guy she was dating and found out that he was a registered sex offender. You can never be too careful!
