Okay, unlike my other posts, this has nothing to do with my ex. Right now I am taking a very intense summer class that requires about 4-6 hours of studying a day (not even exaggerating). I have 60 lbs to lose, and I originally thought I'd be able to go to the gym to get at least 15 off this summer. Well, it's almost July and I have only managed to keep off 5. Thankfully the class ends next week and after that I will be able to go back to the gym at least every day. But here's my problem. When school starts, I'm going to be busy again with the studying and will be too tired to do anything but sleep. I eat pretty healthy, but from past experience it's the moving around that helps me to lose the weight. So I need suggestions. What have you all done to lose weight when you've had/or have a hectic school/work schedule? I'm graduating this December and I would love to have at least 30lbs gone before the ceremony and before I move :). Thanks everyone in advance!

HI Melissa! Well, you could try to go to the gym before you have to go to class. I would exercise at home (pilates) before I had to go to class. It seemed to give me more energy and stamina towards the end of the day when I exercised in the morning. Just a thought! Good luck! Christina

Dont stress about losing weight. Take your kids for a walk in the evening and drink plenty of water. If I dont get to the gym I have a set of 5 pound weights at home and will do a half hour weight work out at home and I go on the WII and play dance dance revolution for cardio, or I will go up and down the stairs like 10 to 20 times. A friend of mine who needed to lose weight quick went on the HGC drops and she lost 50 punds in a month with the drops and by following the recipe. I always found the weight seems to come off faster the less you stress about it.

Hi! Yes, I understand. Time is limited. I was also thinking that, if you aren't already, maybe your tiredness is not only due to the lack of sleep. Maybe you need a good multivitamin. I've tried Mega for Women sold at GNC a long time ago and I know it picked me up. If you are already taking one, make sure it's a good one. I've done a bit of research in the past about vitamins and minerals and found (shocking!) that many of the ones sold in the supermarket or places like Walmart and CVS have fillers (etc) that don't break down in the stomach, therefore, not being absorbed into our body. There is a test called "muscle testing" or Kinesiology (sp?) where an alternative doctor will be able to check if your body is using the vitimins you are taking and this test will also tell you what your body needs. Just a thought! ;-)

Yes, we are our biggest critic and hardest task-maker! LOL...sounds like your going to be alright, just remember to twice as kind to yourself as you are hard! Have a wonderful day and I look forward in hearing about your progress! Take care! Christina

Hi Christina, and thank you for the reply :). I have tried to do go in the morning before work and class. The only problem is, I'm so tired from the night before (and I even try to get in bed around 10), and I found myself so tired the next day that sometimes I don't even hear my alarm clock. The only free time I have is from 8-9:30.

However, on a better note! I was discussing this with my mom this morning, it dawned on me that once the class is over, I should be fine. I'm partially freaking out because I'm extremely hard on myself. But if I'm able to lose 5 lbs a month, I'll have my goal of 15lbs off by the end of summer; and better yet I'll be able to reach my goal of 30lbs by graduation. It really sucks being a perfectionist sometimes lol. Thank you again for the advice :D!!
