I think my best gift from my 5 year old son is a card that he made me in afterschool club. He cut it out, colored it, put on stickers and ribbons, etc. But the best thing he put on it was," I love my Mummy" - in phonics! And of course every single hug, kiss, and "I love you Mum". :-)

Wow that is a tough one! I know one of my favorites is a mother's day present I got from him in 2008. It's one of those paintings that have the finger prints on it with the poem that goes, "My dirty little fingerprints I've left on the wall, and on the drawers and the tabletops, I've really marked them all. But here are some that won't rub off. I'm giving them to you, so I'm thankful to have a mom that's just like you". I think the most wonderful thing he has ever given me has got to be this...whenever he wakes up in the morning, he comes into my room. Ever been in that deep sleep, where you suddenly feel like someone is watching you? lol Well, I open my eyes to see my son (who is quite the morning person lol) all bright eyed and bushy tailed staring at me. He tells me that he has a present for me, and gives me a big hug saying, "It's a hug mommy!". Definitely the best gift, and the highlight of my day!

My daughter Arienne makes wonderful letters that never fails to lift me up and makes me smile (sometimes cry)....I keep every one of them......every card every note......I know there will come a time when she wouldn't write me any more of this mushy stuff......and I will go over these letter again and remember.........

My son wanted to make me brownies. So, he quietly got the mixing bowls out and the mix and started to make them. It was so sweet.

My first mothers day I got a card and a chocolate bar which I unknowingly bought myself when I lent his dad some money! lol but for fathers day I bought a pad of A3 paper and some baby friendly finger paints and let my son go wild! lol He LOVED it! And it was soooooo much fun to make!
