My 4 year old little girl has fits a lot. Time out doesn't work either. Taking her favorite toy away doesn't work either. Any advice would help..

Walk away, ignore for a few minutes and eventually they realize that it wasn't worth it. After 14 years raising my son, that is what worked when he was a toddler.

The first time my daughter had a temper tamper, I got down on the floor with her and started kicking and screaming to. She stopped...looked at me and started laughing. Hasn't really had once since. If she does something bad and she knows it, she puts her own self in time out. lol

I have tried that too and she smacks or punches me. I think it's just phase she's going threw, and she's a red head..lol....she really stands her ground though, which I'm glad she does that, but man that temper of hers is awful.

i ignore my little girl when she is having amoment then when it looks like she's calming down. i look her in the eyes and calmly ask her if she has finished. once she has i tell her to say sorry and give mummy a kiss and i always end it with there's my little girl she's back now, what would u like to to. i never give her attention when she is throwing a tantrum and if she has 1 in the shops i move down the aisle from her and eeither look at products or just watch her with a bored look on my face.
